Ear Infection Otitis Media
We offer a private ear infection treatment service and also the NHS service. The NHS service is for patients aged 1 to 17 years. We will examine your ear and if required can prescribe antibiotics for infections. Please enquire at Pharmacy for eligibility.
We provide free clinical assessments and treatments for acute otitis media (middle ear infections) for children and teenagers aged 1 to 17. You can access this care at a pharmacy, skipping a GP visit. If required we may prescribe antibiotics in true cases of middle ear infections or pain-relief drops for those with ear-related pain.
We also do provide otomize ear spray privately to those who aren't eligible for the NHS service. This will require an appointment. Otomize ear spray is used to treat outer ear infections ('swimmer's ear') and will need a clinical assessment to see if you require this medication.
